Director

Mercy Cherian – Mercy hailed from the deepest annals of Kitchener, and emerged a recipient of a B.A Honours Drama Degree from the University of Waterloo.  This is her directorial debut for Starfish Productions, having previously directed a scene for the cabaret “Opposites Attract”, along with several shows for the theatre troupe “The Rice Girls”.  After completing the conservatory program at Second City, she collaborated both as a writer and performer in the fantastically fun production “Citizen Vain”.  She toured across Ontario in the anti-bullying show “Power of One” and Vancouver in the anti-violence show “Calming the Storm”.  She also made the world a better place, by playing the zombie killer, Maple in “Zoe the Zombie Fighter” (zombies!). Satiating her love for the classics, were the roles Marcellus/Rosencrantz/Osric in “Hamlet”, and Iphigenia in “Ismene”.  Recently appearing in “The Picture”, she also did voice work for the indie classic “Get Away.”  Topping 2012, was performing in Douglas Coupland’s genius exhibit at Nuit Blanche: “Museum at the End of the World”.  Great thanks to all the people who attended tonight (yes you!), everyone a part of this production, my family, and friends; for making today and everyday a better place.  Love you – peace!
AndrewAndrew Garett Bullock – Garett Bullock hails from the rustic province of British Columbia.
Spike Heels is Garett’s second professional theatre production.
Garett has recently appeared on such television shows as Hemlock Grove,Degrassi: The Next Generation
And CW’s Nikita.
Garett would to thank Starfish Productions for their hard work and dedication also Katie Massina, Bill MacDonald, Mitra and his family.
GeorgieGeorgie Shannon Stevens – Shannon discovered her love of acting when given the opportunity to work on a small film. From there her passion blossomed leading to the creation of Starfish Productions with a wonderful partner. Their first production, ‘Blood Moon’, took them to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where they sparked discussion and awareness of sexual assault. Their second project, Photovoice, took them to Eldoret, Kenya to bring awareness and help for street youth. ‘Spike Heels’ is another exciting challenge for Shannon and the Company. Shannon would like to thank her business partner Jennica, the cast, Trev, her friends and family.
EdwardEdward Adrian Colbert-Kalb – As an only child Adrian developed an overly active imagination and enjoyed creating adventures involving his closes friends at the time- the cast of Star Wars. After dabbling in university Adrian moved to the west coast to study acting at the Vancouver Film School (effectively crushing his mother’s dream of having a son that could support her in retirement). He is thrilled to make his Toronto stage debut with Starfish Productions and would like to thank the Lisbeth, Ari, the cast and his family for their love and support.
